Best Classic Car Websites

A Image via WikipediaIn my opinion, here is a collection of the greatest classic car sites on the Internet today. On these sites, you can for buy and sell classic cars, classic car parts, services, and accessories, even classic car art and photo galleries. If you fancy automobiles in a classic nature, check out the following websites:

The Iron Alley - A Canadian website which lists project cars for sale. Great prices for great finds.

Old Cars – A place to buy and sell your old cars online. From classics to antiques and everything in between. List your vehicle for sale for only $25.00 until your car sells.

OldRide – A classic car community and marketplace with a lot of great features including a classic car library, gallery of old rusty cars, question and answer forum to have all of your collector car questions answered and an extensive resource directory to find your classic car parts and accessories for your restoration process. Classified ad listings start at just $9.95 and your ad runs until your car sells.

Spuds Garage - They specialize in the advertising your vehicle for sale and provide inspection, ownership verification, auction placement and custom photography services for high end vehicles of all types.

Collector Motors – Some of the best photos of classic cars on the web. Nice and large with complete information about the vehicle including window stickers, VIN & cowl info, casting numbers, etc. You will not be disappointed with this site.

Collector Car Hunter – I think this is a fairly new site but they have a neat layout and some cool features. Their ads are a little expensive though at $59.00.

Car Nut - Not the most up to date website but it has a lot of cool pictures and some good information and just random nonsense.

Joining a Classic Car Club

Classic Car 024Image by Fuzzytek via FlickrThere are many benefits that can present themselves to a classic car enthusiast by joining a classic car club. Besides meeting new people with similar interests such as yours, you can make new friends and learn from them in the process. In addition, most classic car clubs encourage family involvement and membership which can be a great way to spend time together and enjoy doing things that they love.

By joining a classic car club, members can benefit from a wealth of information

-Care and Maintenance tips - how to keep your car in perfect condition.
-Technical advice – providing information on how your cars work and operate.
-Car Show – staying informed about upcoming car events in the area.
-Guest Speakers – people that provide product demonstrations and education.

Each club has an agenda and mission that they uphold to provide each one of their members. The opportunity of belonging to a classic car club can help each of their members continue to grow their car collection and enjoy privileges they might not otherwise have. Another great feature of classic car clubs is that they often give back to the community and become beneficiaries for local or national charities through fundraising events.

To find a classic car club in your area to join, visit the classic car club directory on OldRide.com.
